Dear all,
I am working on a shopping cart for a site that sells Native American
Art. The owner of the site somehow envisions a checkout system a la
amazon.com...
Today he suddenly got the idea that the customer should be able to
ship different items to different mailing addresses. The shoppingcart
system would then calculate tax and shipping cost separately and add
everything up.
My question goes to the shopping cart seasoned ones among you:
How frequently, in your experience, does it happen that customers
want to send different items to different destinations? (Again, these
are items of art, jewelry, weaving etc.)
I just need to figure out whether it really is worth the hassle to
get custom coding.
I am using edatcat's shopping cart system, and am quite happy with
it. Has anyone experience with this one too and could I contact you
off-list?
Thanks a lot for your input :-)
